Tarocco (half-blood oranges)

 

“Hey blondie!!” you might say crossing your eyes..oh yes, it’s our Tarocco orange, a classic half-blood from tradition, with a hint of redness in its flesh and a very aromatic skin (absolutely to be peeled and preserved for any use – dried, under salt or in the freezer).

Sicilians love the new early picked of December, just a little sour, and brag about it. Everyone else waits for the sweeter oranges of January.
